Abigail Grace Carey

CAREY, ABIGAIL GRACE “ABBEY”, 27, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 surrounded by her family.  Abbey was born in Pomona, N.J., and grew up in Tuckerton, N.J.  She graduated from Pinelands Regional High School in 2012.  Abbey was a free spirit and happy-go-lucky soul who could brighten anyone’s day.  She loved to sing and listen to music and always loved animals.  She was a social butterfly and would make friends wherever she was.  Abbey is survived by her loving parents George and Gene Carey, her sister Hannah Szymborski (Joseph), brother George “Bud” Carey, her two sons Cooper and Kaleb, nephews Carter and Hayden, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Please make memorial donations in her name to National Institute on Drug Abuse www.drugabuse.gov.  WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J. is handling the arrangements.
