Campione, Adolph H. 92, of Little Egg Harbor passed on May 27, 2022 at NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, NJ. Born to Nicholas and Minnie Campione in South Philadelphia, PA.
Adolph was a staff sergeant in the United States Army, Veteran of the Korean War. Adolph and his platoon were at the battle of the Chosin Reservoir.
After returning home, Adolph married the love of his life, Rita. He worked at his family bakery, Campione’s Bakery. They left their roots in 1971, to move to the Jersey Shore (Brigantine, NJ) to start a new venture. Adolph was the owner of the Viking Marina in Brigantine. He also worked as a pastry chef in a few casinos. Upon retiring, they moved to Little Egg Harbor. Adolph enjoyed fishing, golfing, sailing and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.
Adolph was predeceased by his beloved wife of almost 70 years, Rita Campione, devoted father of Nicholas Campione, Cheryl (Gary) Migliacci and Adolph (Michele) Campione Jr. Loving Grandmother of Jason (Danielle), Bianca (John Bellingeri), Gerri (Daniel Belowich), Renee (Brian) Simek, Jack and Randy. Great Grandfather of Giana, Aiden, Michael and dear sister to Jean Conti; survived by nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday June 6, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 PM with a service at 12 PM at WOOD FUNERAL HOME 134 EAST MAIN STREET, TUCKERTON. Commital service will follow in ST Mary’s Cemetery 283 Beachview Ave, Manahawkin.
