Alexander Jacob Oswald (“Buzz”), 33, was tragically taken from this world on May 17, 2026.
Born on August 29, 1992 in Atlantic City, NJ - Alex grew up in Tuckerton and Mystic Islands during his youth, where he made lots of childhood memories. In 2004, he moved to Egg Harbor City, where he graduated from Oakcrest High School in 2011. Throughout his life, he worked many different jobs — plumbing, landscaping, painting — whatever you needed, he was always there to help. His favorite job was working on the Wildwood Boardwalk at the Dolphin Shop with his friend Jarrod, where he was happiest spending time with people, sharing jokes, and making everyone around him laugh.
Alex was a loving son, a proud brother, a cherished grandson, a fun uncle, a dependable cousin, and a true friend to so many. He was the type of person that would be there for you in a heartbeat if you were down and out.
Alex loved storytelling, riding his motorcycle, playing the lottery, and all things involving family and friends — whether it was camping trips, parties, or simply spending time together and enjoying life
Alex is predeceased by his paternal grandparents (Richard and Virginia Enderlin), maternal grandfather (Keith Oswald), grandfather-figure (Eugene Gibbons), father (Wiliam Enderlin), and brother (Travis Oswald). He is survived by his mother, Colleen Oswald, brother William Oswald, sister Lynnsey Oswald, mommom Ginny Oswald, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Wood Funeral Home on May 26, 2026 from 1pm-4pm for those that would like to pay their last respects. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to your local animal rescue.
