Anna M. Morey

MOREY, ANNA M., 86, of Tuckerton, N.J. passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Mystic Meadows Nursing & Rehab., Little Egg Harbor, NJ.  She was born in New York, NY, residing there for 19 years prior to moving to Tuckerton.  Anna worked as a secretary for Harrahs Casino, Atlantic City.  She served on the Tuckerton Elementary School Board for 22 years.  Anna also served on Tuckerton Borough Council for several years, and volunteered at Laurel Thrift Shop, Tuckerton.  She was a member of St. Theresa R.C. Church, Little Egg Harbor.  Anna was predeceased by her husband Frank Morey.  She is survived by her sons John Morey and wife Diane, of Tuckerton, NJ, and Michael Morey and Eileen McAndrew, of West Creek, NJ, sister Lucielle Edwards, of Denton, TX, and brother Frank Bambace, of Staten Island, NY, 8 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. 
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 10 AM-12 PM, with a Service at 12 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, N. Green St., Tuckerton.
