Brenda J Harris

HARRIS, BRENDA J. (née BELK), 75, of West Creek, NJ, (formerly of New Gretna, NJ), passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ.  She was born in Atlantic City, NJ, and was a lifelong resident of New Gretna, NJ.  Brenda worked as a beautician, salon manager in Tuckerton and later as a silk-screening technician for Wheaton Plastics, in Mays Landing, NJ.  She was a member of New Gretna Methodist Church.  Brenda served as a cheerleading coach for Southern Ocean Pop Warner. 

Brenda was predeceased by her father William Belk and mother Rose Belk (née Downs).

She is survived by her loving husband Dan Harris, her son Tom Harris and fiancée Gale, of Barnegat, NJ, daughter Barbara Jean Shuff and husband Steve, of Lakewood, CO, son Scott Harris and wife Lisa, of West Creek, NJ, brothers Bill Belk, of Barnegat, NJ, and Robert Belk and wife Mary Jane, of New Gretna, NJ, along with grandchildren Abby, Katelyn, Andrew, Phoenix, Zachary, Hailey, Logan, and Jackson, and great-grandchild Quincy. In lieu of flowers, please donate to SOCH Animal Shelter in Manahawkin or Cape May Zoo.
