Carl M Salva

SALVA, SR. CARL M., 86 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on July 17, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born in New York City, NY and lived in Westchester County before retiring and moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2002. Carl was a dedicated husband to Gladys, his loving wife of 63 years, and a devoted father to Carol, Laura, and Carl Jr. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, Kristen, Megan, Lauren, Jennifer, Cameron, Kevin, and Ryan and seven great grandchildren, Trent, Maddie, Raygan, Emerson, Alyssa, Everlee, and Lainey. Carl was predeceased by his brother Joseph Salva, who also resided in New Jersey. Carl was a respected banker for Chase Bank for 44 years and built relationships that lasted beyond his career and into retirement. He worked his way up from being hired as a teller to retiring as the Vice President of Public Funds for the City of Manhattan. One of his well-known clients was the New York Yankees, which was a home run for him since he had a love of baseball and was a lifelong Yankees fan. Carl was actively involved in the Tall Timbers Housing Association as a board member and treasurer for the community for more than 20 years. He was an avid golfer and a faithful member of St. Theresa Church in Little Egg Harbor. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 25, 2025, at St. Theresa Church, 450 Radio Road, Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
