Carl A. Wasylkowski, 78, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 22, 2026 in the comfort of his home surrounded by the love of his family.
He was born in Chestertown, Maryland. For most of his adult life, he lived in Little Egg Harbor, where he raised his children and grandchildren, and ran and owned his construction business, CW Construction. He was a dedicated member of First United Methodist Church in Tuckerton. Carl was a U.S. Army Veteran. He cherished running the roads, the drag races, the Delaware State Fair, Rehobeth Beach, and Gator Joes in sunny Florida. He enjoyed the nostalgia of Lionel trains and the magic of Christmas. He made every Christmas more special than the last for his family.
Carl was predeceased in passing by his beloved dog Scoobie, parents Julian and Clyde Wasylkowski and brother-in-law Richard Brittingham.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda Wasylkowski (nee Thomas), sister Patricia Britingham; sons, Carl (Scott) Wasylkowski, Kurtis Wasylkowski and fiancée Jennifer Redlund; daughters Lindsey King and husband James and Darci Wasylkowski, along with his grandchildren Mari-Lynn and Kurtis Jr. Wasylkowski, Alyse Wasylkowski, Carli, Dylan and Gavin King ,and Benjamin Wilson.
Carl was a loving husband, father, pop-pop, uncle and friend. Carl’s life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his love a gift that will continue to guide those who knew him. He will truly be missed by all.
Family and Friends are invited to gather Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 10 AM to12:30 PM, with a Memorial Service at 12:30 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.
