Charles A. Munro Jr.

MUNRO, CHARLES A. JR., 74, of Surf City, N.J., passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin.  He was born in Mount Holly, N.J., residing in Marlton, prior to moving to Surf City.  Charles was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran, serving from 1965-1973.  He was a wood carver, and owned his own company, Woodchips, Surf City, N.J.  Charles was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and especially fishing, both salt and fresh water.  He was also a former dock master at Beach Haven Yacht Club from 1968-1975.

Charles is survived by his wife Nancy, son Charles Munro III, and daughter Beth Munro, both of Surf City, N.J., along with niece Susan Scott, of Beach Haven, N.J., and a niece and nephew of North Carolina and Florida, respectively.
