Charles C. Purves

PURVES, CHARLES C., 81, of West Creek, N.J., passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at home.  He was born in Washington, D.C., residing there prior to moving to West Creek.  Charlie worked for N.J. D.E.P., Atlantic City, N.J., as a Coastal Inspector Supervisor.  He was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran, serving from 1960-1964.  Charlie was a member of Eagleswood Volunteer Fire Co. #52, and West Creek United Methodist Church.  He was predeceased by his wife Connie Purves.  Charlie is survived by his son Chester Purves and wife Lori, of Stuart FL., daughter Jennette Seffrin and husband Rich, of Glassboro, N.J., brother Chester W. Purves, of West Creek, N.J., sister Sara Didriksen, of New Symrna Beach FL., grandchildren Chester Craig Purves Jr., Rick Seffrin (Anisha), Logan Purves, Blake Seffrin, and great-grandson Brixton.  WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J. is handling the arrangements
