Christine Cors

Cors, Christine, age 71, of Little Egg Harbor Township passed away on Sunday October 2, 2022 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin. She was comforted by her beloved children, Laura Cook and Michael Cook, who were at her bedside.
Christine was the daughter of William and Iole Cors, all formerly of Denville, New Jersey. She is survived by her two brothers, Dr. William Cors and Stephen Cors (Shelley); her mother Iole Cors; her children Laura and Michael; and her nieces and nephews.
Christine was born in Morristown, New Jersey. Her earlier years were in Denville, New Jersey where she attended Morris Catholic High School and then graduated from Morris Knolls High School. She then attended Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. Christine continued her education to become a hospital Laboratory Technician and then a Blood Bank Supervisor. She began her professional career at Riverside Hospital in Boonton, New Jersey. After relocating to Ocean County, New Jersey, she continued her career at Southern Ocean Medical Center (formerly Southern Ocean County Hospital). Christine worked with dedication and passion to help others during a hospital-based career that spanned almost 45 years. She will be missed dearly by friends and family that knew and loved her as a gentle soul, a kind and caring person and someone with a special sense of humor.
Services will be held at Wood Funeral Home, 134 East Main St., Tuckerton, N.J. on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 10 am to 12 pm.
