Darrell H. Tuenge

Darrell Tuenge age 82, was a proud 8 year Navy Vet of the Vietnam War.  He was in electronics.  He flew in the blimps along the Atlantic Coast in the late 50’s until one imploded and many sailors were killed.  Then he did Air Sea Rescue out of a helicopter.  On ship duty he flew with the Captains crew going to islands to pick up supplies.  He enjoyed that until he was in a landing crash upon the ship.  A wheel collapsed and he got many broken bones.

Darrell did many jobs after leaving the Navy.  He ended up with working in Edison’s General Motors until it’s closing.

He had no surviving family except his beloved partner, Carol Greene, of 18 wonderful     years.  He will be missed by all who knew him.
