WAGNER, DOLORES E., April 29, 1927 – January 7, 2022, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died peacefully of January 7, 2022 at the age of 94. Dolores was the youngest daughter of George and Anna Mae (Coyne) Ehinger and grew up in Livingston, N.J. She married her high school sweetheart, Roger in 1948. Dolores and Roger had two children together as well as four grandsons and six great-grandchildren. She had homes in Florham Park, Surf City, Sparta and in Little Egg Harbor, N.J., and in Spring Hill, FL. Generous and supportive, Dolores found particular joy in helping and being with her family. It is impossible to overstate the love and care she showered on her family. Always an extraordinary party giver, “Granny” stressed the importance of celebrating and emphasized having her houses decorated for all special occasions. Dolores is survived by her son Tom (and Merry) Wagner, daughter Nancy Malcolm, grandsons, William, Jonathan (and Nicole) Wagner, Alex, Kristopher (and Nicole) Malcolm, and six great-grandchildren, Bowie, Clementine, Lucia, Eily, Elwood and Leo. She had an infectious laugh and it’s worth noting that her beautiful contributions to our lives will undoubtedly live on in us. A memorial service will be held for Dolores in the spring. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J. is handling the arrangements.
