Donald T Fields

FIELDS, DONALD T., 65, of Philadelphia, PA., passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023. He was born in Orlando, FL, raised in Northeast Philadelphia where he attended Arch Bishop Ryan High School, and eventually enlisted in the Army. After his service he moved back to Orlando FL. to attend College when he met the love of his life and moved to Little Egg Harbor, N.J. in 1982.  Donald is a U.S. Army Veteran, serving from 1975-1979.  He worked for the Casino gaming industry in Atlantic City as a Convention Services Manager for many years working at Casinos such as The Tropicana, Caesars, Trump Taj Mahal and Trump Castle.

Donald loved his Florida and Philadelphia sports teams such as the Florida State Seminoles, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, The Philadelphia Flyers and The Philadelphia Sixers.  He loved music and going to live concerts to see his favorite bands throughout the years. He also had a love for live horse racing and making a party out of going to the racetrack.  

Donald is survived by his daughter Alexa Fields, of West Creek, N.J., brother Wayne Fields, of Lake Forest, CA., his best friend Bridget Fields, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ. He was Predeceased by his mother Margaret (nee Hanlon) Fields and his Father Clarence Fields.

Family and friends may gather Friday, June 30, 2023, from 9:30-10:30 AM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Friday, June 30, 2023 at 11 AM, at St. Theresa R.C. Church, 450 Radio Rd., Little Egg Harbor, N.J.   Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, N. Green St., Tuckerton, N.J.
