Doris M Peterson

PETERSON, DORIS M. 89, of Tuckerton, N.J., passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at home.  She was born in Camden, N.J., residing in Westmont for 39 years prior to moving to Tuckerton.  Doris worked as an Executive Assistant for RCA, Camden, N.J. for 25 years.  She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Little Egg Harbor, and also a member of Pink Ladies of Tuckerton Beach Association. 

Doris was predeceased by her husband Nelson Peterson.  She is survived by her sons Steven Peterson and wife Linda, of Hughsville, MD., Brian Peterson and wife Nancy, of Tuckerton, N.J, and Gary Peterson and wife Jennifer of Flemington, N.J., along with grandchildren Lauren, Kristin, Zachary, Steven Jr., and Caroline, nieces Amy and Devon. 

Visitation will be Sunday, May 12, 2024, from 7-9 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.  Visitation will also be Monday, May 13, 2024, from 10-11 AM, with a 11 AM service at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 204 Wayne Ave., Haddonfield, N.J., 08033.  Burial will follow at 12:30 PM, in Arlington Park Cemetery, 1620 Cove Rd., Pennsauken Twp., N.J., 08110.  For condolences and more information visit www.woodfuneralhomeinc.com.  In lieu of flowers donations to Tuckerton Food Pantry, 148 North Green Street, Tuckerton NJ 08087
