Edward P Giorgi

GIORGI, EDWARD P., 78, of Manahawkin, N.J., passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin.  He was born in Norwood, MA., residing there and Stoughton MA., prior to moving to Manahawkin, N.J. 14 years ago.  Edward worked as an equipment tech for the VA, Brockton, MA.  He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam War Veteran, and was a member of American Legion Post #493, Little Egg Harbor.  Edward was an avid fisherman, building fishing rods, and making lures.  He was an avid CB operator, and enjoyed photography. 

Edward is survived by his wife Virginia (nee Dean) Giorgi, son Mark Giorgi, of New Bedford MA., daughter Ellen Griffiths, and husband Thomas, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., along with grandchildren Tommy and Rebecca.

Family and friends may gather Saturday, January 16, 2021, from 12 Noon - 1 PM, with a Memorial Service at 1 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.
