Elizabeth Nonnemacher

Elizabeth Nonnemacher, 70, passed away on October 31st. Liz moved to Canton, Georgia this summer to be close to her son, Jon. Prior, Liz was a 35-year resident of Little Egg Harbor, NJ.  

Elizabeth was born in Newark, NJ, and was raised by loving parents, John and Sophie Rokicki, of Bayonne. Betty grew up alongside her dear cousin, Ronnie Roskowski, a big brother and role model into her adult years. 

Liz loved the Jersey Shore, moving to Little Egg Harbor with her then husband, Michael, and raising two sons. Liz provided her sons with an active childhood as a supportive mother, attending sports games, school concerts and volunteering as a Scout Leader and at various community events. 

Liz was an outgoing, kind and jovial conversationalist. Her smile and positivity was contagious, lighting up rooms everywhere she went. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

Liz is survived by her sons, Jonathan, 36, of Canton and Michael, 39, of Gresham, Oregon. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Ronald, 2010.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Wood Funeral Home in Tuckerton, NJ on Friday at 10am.
