Elizabeth Walentisch

Elizabeth Walentisch, 93 passed into eternal rest on January 22, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Rudolf, as well as sisters Genoveva, Katarina and Sylvia (Slava). She is survived by her son Peter, and her daughter, Alex, as well as her sister, Adele. At the time of her death, she had 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, and extended family members across the globe.

“Elsa” was and extraordinarily devoted wife, mother, and grandparent, always giving advice and home baked goodies to all who came to visit her. She was known for making holidays, birthdays and special occasions memorable ones, filled with love, warmth, and importance. In her capacity as Mom, Grandma, or Oma, no one was ever forgotten or overlooked.

A viewing & gathering for family and friends will be held at Wood Funeral Home 134 East Main Street, Tuckerton, NJ, on Saturday January 27,2024 from 1PM to 3 PM, ending with a prayer service at 3PM. Interment will take place next to her devoted husband in Montclair, NJ on January 29, 2024.
