DRISCOLL, ELSIE F. “REDS”, 100, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025. She was born in Tuckerton, NJ, and was a lifelong resident. Reds was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Tuckerton for many years, serving as church organist and a sunday school teacher for many years, and was also a member of Southern Ocean Congregational Church in later years. She loved working in her yard, and spending time with her family, and friends.
Reds was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Hubert L. Driscoll, along with brothers Herbert Heinrichs, Alvin Heinrichs and Russell Heinrichs, and sisters Alva "Sis" Adams and Rose Anne "Peg" Parker. She is survived by her son Hubert Driscoll Jr. and wife Nancy, of West Creek, NJ, son Gary Driscoll and wife Maryann, of Tuckerton, NJ, daughter Charlotte Rutherford and husband Bruce, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, grandchildren Renee, Charlene, Alyssa, Julia Rose, and Daniel, step-grandchildren Angela, Daniel, and Jeanette, great-grandchildren Emily, Abbigail, Hali, Katie, Jack, and James, step-great-grandchildren Dale, Nicola, Georgia, Lio and Luca, along with great-great-grandchildren Ryleigh, Elijah and Anthony. She is also survived by her sisters Berta Marshall, and Judy Richmond, along with many nieces and nephews, and extended family.
Family and friends may gather Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 10 AM – 12 PM, with a service at 12 PM., at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Ocean of Love for Children With Cancer, Rt. 37 W., Toms River, NJ, or Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter, Manahawkin, NJ., Southern Ocean Congregational Church, LEHT, or charity of your choice.
