Eric Raymond Taylor, 54 was born in Long Branch, NJ, passed away at home on May 17, 2026.
Eric graduated from Pinelands Regional High School and Rochester Institute of Technology where he studied Photography and Environmental Science.
Eric was an awesome photographer. He became interested in photography at a young age and continued working in the profession until his death. He traveled the world taking pictures in Italy, Puerto Rico and Bali to name a few. He worked in Miami, Florida right after graduating from RIT. He loved taking photos of friends and families, especially of his nephew Bobby.
Eric loved fishing. He would take Bobby fishing whenever he could and loved teaching him to fish.
Eric is predeceased by his sister, April Taylor Gray, his maternal grandmother Ann Hoffman, his paternal grandparents Edgar and Evelyn Taylor, his maternal aunt Jeryl Mitchell and his paternal uncle William Taylor.
Eric is survived by his parents, Barbara and Raymond Taylor, and his nephew Robert (Bobby) Matthew Gray IV, and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Eric had many friends from childhood and high school, which he frequently visited and kept in touch with. He was a caring and selfless man who took a genuine interest in supporting friends and family during difficult times. He was always there to be supportive and lend a hand in any situation, such as caring for his paternal grandmother as her health declined.
