Frederick J. Riley

RILEY, FREDERICK J., 85, of Tuckerton, N.J., passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Complete Care at Linwood, Linwood, N.J.  He was born in Hopewell, N.J., residing in East Moriches, L.I., N.Y., Adak, AK., Muskegan, MI., Gulfport, MS., New Haven, CT., and Sag Harbor, L.I., N.Y., prior to moving to Tuckerton in 1986.  Fred served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1957-1978.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Tuckerton, and Masonic Lodge #4, Tuckerton. 

Fred was predeceased by his son Charles Riley.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Ann Riley, nee Hulse, his son John J. Riley, of Murfreesboro, TN., brother James M. Riley, of Havelock, N.C., sister Jill E. Riley, of Dover, DE., along with grandchildren Andrew, William, and Patrick. 

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J., is handling the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to
First United Methodist Church of Tuckerton.
