George W. Binder Jr.

BINDER, GEORGE W. JR., 86, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Seacrest Village Nursing & Rehab., Little Egg Harbor.  He was born in Newark, NJ, residing in Nutley for over 50 years, prior to moving to Little Egg Harbor.  George was a Math and Computer Science high teacher for Columbia High School, S. Orange, NJ for over 35 years.  He was part of the Boy Scouts of America, volunteering, for over 50 years.  George was a member of St. Theresa RC Church, Little Egg Harbor.  He was predeceased by his parents George and Margaret Binder.  George is survived by his sister Frances E. Binder, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, cousins Susan Fauth, and Elizabeth Fauth, both of Brick, NJ, Patricia Jennings, of Toms River, NJ, John Miller, of Burlington, NJ, Lyn Miller, of Toms River, Barry Lapsley, of Whiting, NJ, and Connie Palito, of Springfield, NJ.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 2-4 PM, and Friday, March 24, 2023 from 9:30-10:30 AM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 E. MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Friday, March 24, 2023, at 11 AM, at ST. Theresa RC Church, 450 Radio Rd., Little Egg Harbor, NJ.  Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery, Belleville, NJ.
