Geraldine E Liston

LISTON, GERALDINE E., 83, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025, peacefully at home. She was born on August 11th, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA., residing there until permanently moving to Mystic Island in Little Egg Harbor, during the 1990s.

She worked at Monarch manufacturer in Port Richmond, Philadelphia, for many years and later at the Acme Markets bakery in Tuckerton until her retirement. At home on the lagoon with her husband, she spent summers crabbing. She always loved cooking and baking, especially during the holidays for family.

Daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Szlachetka) Poserina. Geraldine, lovingly known as “Gerri” to family and friends, was a member of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, in Little Egg Harbor. She was predeceased by her sister Eileen Blue, brothers Raymond J. Poserina, Charles Poserina, and Edmund Poserina. Geraldine is survived by her husband Robert T. Liston, married for 64 years, son Robert R. Liston (Debbie), of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., son Thomas Liston (Janemarie), of Egg Harbor City, N.J., brother Ronald Poserina (Joann), of Long Island, N.Y., grandchildren Brittany O'Connor (Matthew), Thomas Liston, and great-granddaughter Sophia Jane O’Connor, along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is still being planned, to honor Gerri’s life, and details will be announced at a later date.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and will forever live in our hearts.
