Helen M. White

Helen M. White, 79, of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Born in Pinewald, New Jersey, Helen was a lifelong resident of the Little Egg Harbor area. She retired from the Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department, where she served as a Records Clerk. Helen was a devoted member of Southern Ocean Congregational Church in Little Egg Harbor and enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frederick White, and her brother, Clarence Mathis. She is lovingly remembered by her son, David White, and his wife, Kristin, and her cherished grandson Elliott of Lutz, Florida; her sister, Margaret of Southampton Township, her brother, Bill Mathis of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Helen will be remembered for her unwavering faith, quiet strength, and selfless devotion to her family. Her warm smile, joyful laughter, generous spirit, and loving heart made every gathering a special occasion. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unconditional love that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her and be loved by her. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m., at Wood Funeral Home, 134 East Main Street, Tuckerton, New Jersey. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery on North Green Street in Tuckerton.
