Hurley "Hobe" Conklin

84, of West Creek, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 at home.  He was born in Forked River, N.J., and was raised in Barnegat, prior to moving to West Creek.  Hobe worked for Little Egg Harbor M.U.A. for many years.  He was a founding member of Little Eagle Gun Club, and also a member of West Creek Methodist Church.  Hobe also enjoyed decoy carving.  He was predeceased by his parents Hurley Conklin and Margaret Ridgeway.  Hobe is survived by his wife Muriel, daughters Lorrene Conklin, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., and Marlena Herron, of West Creek, N.J., brother Robert Quinn, of Potosi, MS., grandchildren Bryan, Skylar, Avery, Shannyn, great-grandchildren Michael, Nicholas, Brenden, Teagen, Blain, and Charlotte, along with many extended family.  Visitation will be Friday, July 15, from 10 AM-1 PM, with a Service at 1 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J. Burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, North Green Street. Tuckerton.
