James Donato Elefante

James Donato Elefante, 72, of Little Egg Harbor passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025. He was surrounded by many loving family members.

Jimmy was born in the Bronx, NY on July 27, 1952.  At a young age his family moved to Hazlet, NJ where he was raised. He attended Raritan High School where he met and later married his High School Sweetheart Deborah Christopher. They moved to Little Egg Harbor in 1977 and raised two loving daughters, Kristina & Michelle. Jimmy was a proud member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 2018. Jimmy loved nature, animals, music and his family and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents James C, and Esther Elefante and 5 siblings. He Is survived by his wife of 52 years Deborah, his daughters Kristina (John) Skowronek and Michelle Elefante (Chuck Londrigan), 7 grandchildren, Deborah (Jack) Duggan, Michaela, Emma, John, Georgia, Liam and Noah, honorary grandchildren Conor, Christian, and Kady, 6 great grandchildren, Kaileigh Ann, Jayson, Landon, Conor, Cillian, a soon to be born baby girl, and  much loved nieces and nephews. Jimmy was also raised among many wonderful cousins who were very close to his heart. 

A private viewing will be held for family and close friends on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Wood Funeral Home in Tuckerton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, if you would like to honor Jimmy's memory, please feel free to make a donation to your animal welfare organization of choice.
