James J Gladney

Gladney, James J., 48, of New Gretna, N.J., passed away peacefully Saturday, May 25, 2024, with his siblings by his side at Southern Ocean County Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ.   James was born in Toms River, N.J., and was a lifelong area resident.  “Jimmy” previously worked as a pool and spa technician.  He loved to read and spend quality time with friends and family. Jimmy was predeceased by his father William Gladney and his mother Patricia Gladney. Jimmy is survived by his brothers William Gladney, Jody Gladney of New Gretna NJ, Brian Gladney of Little Egg Harbor and Brandon Gladney of Little Egg Harbor., Nieces Alexis Gladney, Paige Gladney, and Lilly Gladney, Nephews Brandon Gladney Jr. and Jake Bartlett, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and old childhood friends.  Graveside services will be June 15, 2024, at 12 PM, in Miller Cemetery, North Maple Avenue, New Gretna, NJ.  Wood Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
