James T Thomas

THOMAS, JAMES T., 84, of Little Egg Harbor, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023, at Seacrest Village Nursing & Rehab., Little Egg Harbor, N.J.  He was born in Glen Lyon, PA.  After high school he entered the U.S. Air Force, serving 31 years, from 1956-1987, as a medic, going on to become a Chief Master Sergeant, receiving U.S.A.F. Commendation Medal.  Thomas was a member of American Legion Post 493, receiving the Patriot of the Year 2020 from Little Egg Harbor Twp. 

Thomas was predeceased by his wife Coral Irish Thomas.  He is survived by his sons James T. Thomas, of TX., James E. Thomas, of Illinois, sisters Charlotte Duda, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., Joan Prestash, of Nanticoke, PA., Elaine Bates, of Nanticoke, PA., and Barbara Yackimowski, of Wilkes Barre, PA., along with nieces Doreen Wisniewski, Maple Shade, N.J., JoAnn Mattei, of Philadelphia, PA., and Sandra Duda, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J. 

Visitation will be Monday, June 26, 2023, from 2-4 PM, with a Service at 4 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.  Burial in Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery, Hopkinsville, KY.
