Jeffrey E. Leuffgen

Jeffrey E. Leuffgen passed away on May 2nd at around 2:15 in the morning at University Hospital in Newark.  Jeffrey was a very happy, caring, and helpful person who worked at Mystic Island Casino for more than 10 years.  He received his GED immediately after his graduating class received their diplomas, without even studying for it.  Jeffrey was a very creative person. He could draw or paint anything as well as getting creative with pottery. In fact he took a couple of courses at OCC and helped the teacher clean up after the class was over. He painted a life-sized Tasmanian Devil, Marvin the Martian, Roadrunner, Tweety, Yosemite Sam and Sylvester the Cat on his bedroom walls. They were Absolutely Awesome! He also had a wonderful voice and sang in The Pineland Players Group, and also performed in several plays. He also sang with many karaoke songs and performed absolutely wonderfully.  Jeffrey was predeceased by his brother Corey J. Leuffgen and his cousin Nicole C. Rohlfs as well as his grandparents on both sides of the family. Jeffrey is survived by his parents Juanita L. Leuffgen and Eric D. Leuffgen of Little Egg Harbor Twp., 2 brothers Kevin D. Leuffgen, of Little Egg Harbor Twp and Scott A Leuffgen and his Fiance Hailey V. Roberts and their 2 children Alexandria R. Leuffgen and Oliver E. Leuffgen of Galloway NJ as well as many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.  Jeffrey had a very special bond with his niece Alexandria. They both loved each other very much. He will definitely be missed by many people. Visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2025, from 2-4 PM – 7-9 PM at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, NJ.
