John L Barker

BARKER, JOHN L., 48, of Smithville, N.J., passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022.  He was born in Toms River, N.J., residing in Little Egg Harbor prior to moving to Smithville.  John was a self-employed painter.  He was predeceased by his father John J. Barker.  John is survived by his partner Janice Malone, of Smithville, N.J., mother Ruth Edwards and husband James, formerly of Little Egg Harbor and Tuckerton area prior to moving to Little River, S.C., sister Debra L. Barker Price and David Kirk, of Barnegat, N.J., and brother James Edwards Jr. and Jennifer, of Manchester, N.J., along with two nieces and 2 nephews.  Family and friends may gather Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 6-9 PM, with a Memorial Service at 8:30 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.
