John J. Santarpio

SANTARPIO, JOHN J. “JACKIE”, 70 of Little Egg Harbor, passed away at home Wednesday, January 19, 2022.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA., resided there until moving to Little Egg Harbor in 1987.  John worked in Grounds and Maintenance for Little Egg Harbor Public Works for 24 years.  A good part of John’s time was spent doing the things he loved, including gardening, playing slots, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.   John is predeceased by his parents Anthony and Genevieve Conran, and beloved son John.  He is survived by his loving wife Patricia, daughters Lisa Convery (Fran), of Berlin, N.J., Trisha Zazenski, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., and Erica Allen (Steve), of Tuckerton, N.J., sisters Joanne Schoettle (Fran), of Philadelphia, PA., Gina Walsh, of Philadelphia, PA., and Coleen Root (Mike), of Philadelphia, PA., grandchildren Sgt. Steven Allen, Julia Zazenski, James Zazenski, Francis Convery, and Jackson Zazenski, along with many nephews and nieces.  Visitation will be Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 12 noon to 3 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.  Cremation will be private.
