Karen Allen

ALLEN, KAREN, 69, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., passed away Friday, November 12, 2021, at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, N.J.  She was born in Camden, N.J., residing on Long Beach Island, graduating from Southern Regional High School in 1970, later moving to Little Egg Harbor.  She worked at Verizon for 24 years.  Karen was the love of her husband John’s life, and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother that dedicated her life to her family.  She was predeceased by her brother William “Woody” Dillinger.  Karen is survived by her husband John Allen, sons John Allen III and Stephanie, of Wading River, N.J., and Steve Allen and wife Erica, of Tuckerton, N.J., daughter Becky Kushner and husband Joe, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., grandchildren Stevie, Karah, and Dillin, whom she adored and cherished, sisters Sharon Wyckoff, of Manahawkin, N.J., and Fawn Creutzinger, of Manahawkin, N.J., along with several nephews and nieces.  There will be no services held at this time.  WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J. is handling the arrangements.
