Kathie L. Tyhanic

TYHANIC, KATHIE L., 82, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, N.J.  She was born in New Brunswick, N.J., residing in Edison, and East Brunswick prior to moving to Little Egg Harbor.  Kathie was an Elementary School Teacher for Little Egg Harbor School District for 25+ years.  She was a parishioner at St. Theresa R.C. Church, Little Egg Harbor, also member of Friends of The Library.  Kathie was predeceased by her husband Robert Tyhanic.  She is survived by her sons Kurt Tyhanic, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., and Keith Tyhanic and wife Maureen, also of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., along with grandchildren Brandan and Morgan.  Visitation will be held Monday, September 11, 2023 from 9-11 AM, with a service at 11 AM., at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.  Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Jamesburg, N.J.
