Louis G. Amoroso Sr.

AMOROSO, LOUIS G. SR., 87, of West Creek, N.J., passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin.  He was born in Jersey City, N.J., residing there prior to moving to West Creek.  Louis worked for the State of New Jersey, Atlantic City, as a Bridge Tender.  He was a U.S. Marine Corps. Veteran, serving from 1953-1955.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Little Egg Harbor, and Tuckerton Masonic Lodge #4, for 61 years.  Louis was predeceased by his son Richard G. Amoroso.  He is survived by his wife Darlene Amoroso, of 57 years, daughter Wanda G. Florio and husband Leonard Florio, of Ocala, FL., a son Robert A. Huebner, of Egg Harbor Twp., N.J., a son Louis G. Amoroso Jr. and wife Anita, of Ocala, FL., along with 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  Memorial Services will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J. Family and friends may gather from 6 - 9 PM, with a Service at 8:45 PM. Burial will be private.
