Louise H Thornton

THORNTON, LOUISE H., 76, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, Galloway, N.J.  She was born in Passaic, N.J., residing in Little Egg Harbor.  Louise was employed by New Jersey Bell, Manahawkin, as a telephone operator.  She was a member of St. Theresa R.C. Church, Little Egg Harbor.  She loved sewing, baking and making memories with her grandchildren.  Louise is survived by her husband Thomas Thornton, sons Thomas Thornton (Danielle), of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., and John Thornton (Jacquelyn), of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., daughter Tara Rutter, Tuckerton, N.J., brothers Peter Rooney, of Aberdeen, N.J., and Robert Rooney, of Brick, N.J., sister Phyllis Conover, of Absecon, N.J., along with grandchildren Jonty Thornton, Kayla Thornton, Thomas Thornton, Dillon Rutter, and Taylor Rutter.  Visitation will be Monday, August 15, 2022, from 11 AM-1 PM, with a Service at 1 PM at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.  Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, New Gretna.
