Margret Shimko

SHIMKO, MARGRET, 81, of Tuckerton, N.J., passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, August 10, 2022.  She was born in Westmann Island, Iceland, and was a longtime resident of Tuckerton.  Margret had previously worked as a Black Jack Dealer for Harrah’s Casino, Atlantic City, N.J.  She was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Little Egg Harbor, N.J.  She loved gardening, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Margret is survived by son Joseph Oskar Charette, and wife Linda, grandsons Erik Oskar, Keith Bragi, and Lauren Salemme, and Kevin Joseph, and wife Hannah, along with great-granddaughter Lilly Anne.  Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 500 Mathistown Rd., Little Egg Harbor, N.J., 08087.  Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at 12 PM, with family and friends gathering from 11:30 until the service starts.
