Mary Susan (Sue) Cimini, age 69, of Mystic Islands, New Jersey, passed away with her loving husband Ben by her side, on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, New Jersey.

Sue was the daughter of the late Gerald and Patricia (Reimensnyder) Minchin and grew up in

Haddon Heights, New Jersey. While spending her summers at the family shore home in Cape

May, New Jersey, Sue met the love of her life, Benjamin Cimini while he was stationed at the Coast Guard base there. It was truly love at first sight and following a brief courtship, the two married. This past July, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Sue and Ben settled in Mystic Islands, New Jersey where they raised their son Jason. Sue truly made that house a loving home and would spend hours outside tending to her garden. When not gardening, she would often be found with a good book in her hand.

Sue worked for many years for FedEx and will be remembered fondly by all of her past co-workers. Following her retirement, Sue loved to spend time in Cape May with Ben or could be found at home watching old movies starring her favorite actor John Wayne, “The Duke,” a love she passed along to Jason.

In addition to Ben and Jason, Sue is survived by her daughter-in-law Jessica and granddaughter Abbigail of Telford, Pennsylvania, her sister Emilie Minchin Morrell, and her brothers Thomas Minchin (Tricia) and Jerry Minchin (Denise) as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by dear family friend Ronald (Bub) Lasher from Pittsfield, MA and her sweet dog, Finn.
