Maryann Smith

Maryann Smith, 84, of Forked River, Lacey Township, died peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Linwood, New Jersey. Born in Newark, New Jersey, she resided in Ocean County nearly her entire life. She was a retired employee of Ciba-Giegy in Toms River and was previously an Administrator in the Toms River Regional Schools. She was a very independent woman who loved her family and all dogs with equal zest.

She is survived by her brother, Bart Smith, of Pine Beach; and her children; Robert, James, and John Osenenko. She is also survived by six loving grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A private celebration of life gathering will be held with the family.
