Paula Y. Everton

EVERTON, PAULA Y., 87, of Tuckerton, NJ, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin.  She was born in Newark, NJ, residing there until she was married, then moving to Cranford for 50 years, prior to moving to Tuckerton full time.  Paula worked as an engineer for Verizon, Newark, NJ for 30 years.  She was a member of Eastern Star, and VFW Auxiliary. 

Paula was predeceased by her parents Paul A. and Eleanor Newsome, and sister Lucille Magliaro.  She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Everton, son Paul Everton, of Barnegat, NJ, half-sister Carole Regan, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 6-9 PM, with a service at 8:30 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, NJ, 08087.
