Obituary

HIGGINS, RICHARD, 63, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at Monmouth Medical Center, Lakewood, N.J.  He was born in Perth Amboy, N.J., residing in Edison, N.J., prior to moving to Little Egg Harbor, N.J.  Richard worked as a postal carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Brick, N.J.  He was a member of Letter Carrier’s Union, and also a member of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Little Egg Harbor. 

Richard is predeceased by his parents Charles and Ann Higgins.  He is survived by his wife Denise Higgins, sons Richard P. Higgins, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., and Daniel Higgins, of Bass River, N.J., brother Charles Higgins, of Piscataway, N.J., along with granddaughter Ava J. Higgins, and niece Stacey Higgins. 

Visitation will be Friday, February 25, 2022, from 9-11 AM, with a Service at 11 AM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.  Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, N. Green St., Tuckerton, N.J.
