Richard J Poliey

POLIEY, RICHARD J., 81, of West Creek, N.J., passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at home.  He was born in New York City, N.Y., residing in Bergen County NJ until 2004. Richard graduated from Hackensack High School in 1959.  He was a U.S. Airforce Veteran serving from 1960-1965.  He served as a Police Officer for Woodcliff Lake Police Dept., Woodcliff, N.J. for 32 years, retiring as Chief in 2000.  Richard was predeceased by his parents John and Adela Poliey.  He is survived by his wife Gail Poliey, children David, Richard Jr., Duane, Debra Robinson (Bill), and Michael (Amy Poliey), brother John Jr. (Elaine), 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.  Services will be held in the future, please check website in January for Memorial Service information.
