Robert J Selfridge

SELFRIDGE, ROBERT J., 83, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA, residing there prior to moving to Manahawkin.   Robert was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran serving from 1960-1964.  He worked as an Elementary School Teacher for Stafford Township School System.  He was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Long Beach Township. 

Robert was predeceased by his parents Robert J. and Ann Selfridge, his brothers Thomas Selfridge and Ronald Selfridge, along with his sister Theresa Fleck.  He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Margery Selfridge (nee Walters), step-son Don Angelini of Manahawkin, N.J., step-daughter Maria Spektor and husband David, of Short Hills, N.J., sister Nan Kasitz, of Huntingdon Valley, PA., step-grandchildren Tesa, Samson, and Evan, along with several nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends may gather Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 10-11:30 A.M., with a Service at 11:30 A.M. at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.  In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to St. Francis of Assisi Parish Food Bank.
