Robert Stewart Obituary

“Pop” Robert M. Stewart October 16, 1956 ~ October 27, 2025 After many years of living with Parkinson’s, Robert passed peacefully on October 27th, with his wife of 45 years by his side holding his hand. He is now free from pain and a body that slowed him down far sooner than his mind. A man of few but meaningful words, Robert lived a life of quiet strength and unwavering dedication. From a young husband chopping firewood making ends meet, to a hardworking man building a beautiful life for his family. He wore many hats in life, but being “Pop” was his greatest joy and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. He loved his daughters more than he could express and happiest with a project at hand or adventures in the woods with his grandson. Known for being set in his “Robert Stewart” stubborn ways, which taught his family priceless life lessons and tools to be resilient. He found peace and purpose in his garage, his yard, or the woods—whether hunting, walking, or simply being outdoors. He was one of those rare men who could fix anything. No matter who asked or what the task it was, Robert would find a way to get it done. To know him was to love him—and to love him was to truly know him. He is predeceased by his parents, Jean and Robert Stewart. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 45 years, Angie Stewart; his daughters, Chastity (Kevin) Miller and Erica (Matt) McKenna, his seven grandchildren—Kamryn, Mason, Kelcy, Kadync, Kendyl, Owen, and Jett. He is also survived by his brothers, Derwood, Roger, and Tye. His love, strength, and lessons will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him best. A celebration of life will be held at Calloways (Caddy) on November 8, 2025, from 1–4 PM, for all family and friends to gather, share memories with laughter, and honor a life well lived.
