Russell W Minor

MINOR, RUSSELL W. SR., 70, of Barnegat, NJ, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Southern Ocean Center, Manahawkin, NJ.  He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, residing in Parkertown, Mystic Islands, and Warren Grove prior to moving to Barnegat.

Russ worked as a garbage man, gravel plant loader, but his favorite job was a deckhand for Barnegat Bay Dredge Company. He loved fishing, camping, gardening, playing horseshoes,and hanging with Family and Friends. He was quick whitted and loved to tell jokes. Russell always helped his neighbors and others.

He will be deeply missed by his Family and Friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Rebecca Minor, his Parents Harold and Ethel Minor, and his brothers Ronald and Glen. Russell is survived by his wife of 51 years Lei Minor (nee McGee), son Russell Minor Jr., and Dina, of Newfield, NJ, daughter Jennifer McDowell and Jason, of Tuckerton, NJ, sisters Judy Kushner (Gary) of Tuckerton, NJ, and Carol Dagnall (Dave) of Pascagoula, MS, Sister in Law Betty Minor of Parkertown, NJ, along with 7 grandchildren-Chad,Madelyn,Justin, Peyton,Sophia,Jacob,and Taryn, many nieces and nephews, and his Best Friends Conrad Partheymueller and Arthur Rubano, Sr.

WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, NJ is handling the arrangements.  A Memorial Service will be determined at a later time.
