Suzanne B. Reckel

RECKEL, SUZANNE B., 71, Little Egg Harbor, NJ, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 at home. She was born and raised in South Plainfield, NJ, residing in Piscataway prior to moving to Little Egg Harbor in 1984.  Suzanne attended Ocean County College, and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.  She was employed by and opened Trump Plaza as a Bartender and was a partner in R&R Feed and Pet Supply in Little Egg Harbor. 

Suzanne was a lover of family, remaining best friends with her brothers and sisters throughout her life. She loved all animals, including the multitude of pets she enjoyed. She could grow anything, but especially loved flowers and herbs. She loved to cook, especially for family, and enjoyed making large dinners. She was also a boating enthusiast and a lifelong Yankee fan.

Suzanne is survived by her husband of 39 years, Steven Reckel, sisters Victoria Barling, of Brigantine, NJ, and Tracy Holaday and husband Christopher, of Chestertown, NY, brothers Albert Barling III, and wife Lucie, of San Francisco, CA, and William Barling, and wife Diana, of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ.  Nieces and nephews Ian Barling, Emmalee Holaday, Liam Holaday and wife Courtney, Thomas Barling and wife Kelsey, Taylor Barling, and Audrey Barling, along with grand-nephews Samuel Barling, and Oliver Barling.

Family and Friends may gather Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 11 AM – 1 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, NJ.
