Tobias L. Simone Sr.

SIMONE, TOBIAS L. SR. “Toby”, 81, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin.  He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., residing in Staten Island, prior to moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2005.  Tobias worked for the City of New York in the Sanitation Dept.  He was a parishioner at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Little Egg Harbor.  He loved to travel, play cards and was an avid bowler. 

Tobias was predeceased by his wife Ellen Simone in 2010.  He is survived by his partner Wanda, son Peter, of Manalapan, N.J., son Tobias and wife Alissa, of Manalapan, N.J., daughter Cindy and partner Matt Hughes, of Brielle, N.J., and son Edward and wife Danielle, of Magnolia, N.J., brother Philip and wife Gracie, of Stuart, FL., sister Cookie Paone, of Manorville, N.Y., grandchildren Sabrina Nicole, Emma Victoria, Justin Tobias, Peter William Jr., Kayla Elizabeth, and Ella Lynn, along with Nieces, Theresa, Phyllis, Grace Ann, Theresa, and Tara.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022, from 1-5 PM, and Monday, February 14, 2022, from 8:30-9:30 AM., at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 14, 2022, at 9:30 AM, at St. Theresa R.C. Church, 450 Radio Rd., Little Egg Harbor, N.J.  Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, N.J.
