ALLEN, MABEL, 66, of New Gretna, New Jersey was taken from her family on November 24, 2014.  Daughter of Lydia and Alvin Heinrichs, wife of Gary Allen.  Mabel is predeceased by her sister Elsie Bower.  She is survived by her three loving daughters Lori Allen, Renee Gaud and Melissa Vander Ryk, her two sisters Lydia Eileen Kaufholz, Georgiana Kostiuk, her three brothers William Lynch, David Heinrichs, Dale Heinrichs,and her best-friend and cousin Linda Rider.  A deeply devoted grandparent, “Me-mom” to her seven grandchildren; Dalton, Cassidy, Joshua, Roman, Xavier, Marley and baby Lucas.

Mabel worked at Trump Taj Mahal for many years until her retirement in 2012.  Among Mabel’s favorite activities were taking care of her grandchildren, decorating her daughters’ houses for the holidays, and spending her seemingly endless energy towards helping out her family.  She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.  Family and friends may gather on Friday, November 28, from 10 AM to 12 PM, with a Memorial Service at 12 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Humane Society.

To all of Mabel's Family,
No words can express the sadness I feel for all of you. May the Lord comfort your hearts and help you through this difficult time. I know she's in heaven with her mom and sister. Rest in peace Mabel, you will be greatly missed.

Mabel was in my class at SRHS class of 1966 .I have fond memories of Mabel from our school days. I am saddened to learn of her passing. May our Lord welcome her and may her family be comforted in this time of great loss.

i am so sorry and sad to learn of Mabel's passing. We went through school and graduated together from SRHS Class of 66. Mabel was always such a sweet girl. Sending my deepest sympathy and prayers to her family for strength. God Bless. Selena Wood Denneler

Mabel was in my brother's class at SRHS, I knew her as we shared a few classes. She was always encouraging and cheered others to their best. I know she is with our loving Lord. may you find comfort in the sharing. And she is forever in the hearts of many. God bless each of you.
